John and Helen Ross have operated businesses nationally and internationally, and collected many awards and honours for their achievements along the way. They proudly call the Mid North Coast home where they raised four children but also love to travel the world.
The Ross’ children and grandchildren share their love of travelling. Peter and Mark Ross are Captains with Qantas.
Mark is married to Sarah and they have added another 3 little members to the family.
Matthew is a travel escort and works in the wine industry-harvest, production, cellar door and customer liaison and has a child with his partner Bronwyn.
Their daughter Catherine is married to Rob and she is a dancer with her own dance company. She has travelled to Japan many times, with her troupe, to perform as well as work in India.
Tania and her partner Chris are avid bike riders who compete in Australia and overseas and ride between 50km and 100km a day!
They have a long history of giving back to the community and philanthropic efforts. Their desire to give back to the business community and charities across the country is admirable.
As chairman of Australia's Holiday Coast Area Consultative Committee, John proudly helped create over 1,000 jobs for the long term unemployed through 'Jobs North.' He received an OAM for Contribution to Tourism and Charities in 1999.
Helen received an OAM in the 2015 Australia Day Honours list for her contributions to the community and is actively involved in the local Port Macquarie community.
